Gaining Access to the Skills Training Grants System

In order to create and submit Community Workforce Response Grant (CWRG) applications on behalf of your organization, you will need to be authorized by your organization to do so and you will require a Business BCeID:

  • A business or organization must register with BCeID at www.bceid.ca. The registration should be done by an authorized person in your business. If you are a small business then an officer of the company should do this. The BCeID website has information on the registration process and what information each type of business needs to supply. The registration process can take a couple of days for a B.C. Corporation or a week or more for a proprietorship or other types of organizations.
  • The outcome of a successful business registration is that the business is issued a Business BCeID account and the person who completes business registration becomes a BCeID Business Profile Manager. The BCeID Business Profile Manager for your organization will be able to login at www.bceid.ca and issue additional Business BCeIDs for other members of your organization.
  • Every member of your organization authorized to create and submit CWRG applications will need to have their own Business BCeID issued to them. You are not permitted to share Business BCeIDs and theirpasswords.
  • When you have been issued a Business BCeID and are authorized by your organization to create and submit CWRG applications then you can login to the Skills Training Grants System. When you first login, you will be required to register yourself with the CWRG by creating a user profile.
  • Before you can submit CWRG applications your organization will need an organization profile created. This should be created by an authorized person within your organization. Instructions are provided in the CWRG web application.
