Over the next 10 years, more than 800,000 jobs will need workers to have post-secondary education. As well, workers will need to adapt to new technology and economic shifts. The StrongerBC: Future Ready Action Plan is creating more opportunities for people to get the education they want. The StrongerBC future skills grant is one of these opportunities.

What is the StrongerBC future skills grant?

The grant covers up to $3,500 in eligible short-term training at public post-secondary institutions. 

Eligible fees/tuition are waived immediately so that you aren’t paying out-of-pocket.

Who is eligible?

British Columbians who are 19+ or have graduated from high school are eligible to participate. 

Training through the grant is available regardless of your financial situation.
