Moose Hide Campaign – Join the Discussion on May 11

alt

The Moose Hide Campaign raises awareness on the rising levels of gender-based and domestic violence in Canada. On May 11, we are invited to come together to participate in the annual campaign by taking a stand and continuing the nationwide conversation on this important issue.

Why is this important?
The campaign began as a way to engage more men and boys in open discussion about gender-based and domestic violence. One important step in addressing this issue involves creating space for educating individuals on how to recognize and address violence. Although the focus is to increase engagement with men and boys, the Moose Hide Campaign is open to all individuals seeking to learn more about an issue that impacts all our communities.

[ TRIGGER WARNING ]

A woman or girl is murdered every two and a half days in Canada … while Indigenous women are killed at six times the rate of non-Indigenous women. (Learn the Issue | Moose Hide Campaign)
