Registering for your COVID-19 vaccine?
The COVID-19 vaccine is available to everyone five+ who lives or works in B.C. You must register to book a vaccine appointment:
- Online: www.gov.bc.ca/getvaccinated
- Phone: 1-833-838-2323 | translators are available
- In person: at a Service BC office
Looking for a job?
The WorkBC.ca job board has thousands of job postings and opportunities to work in B.C. You can search for jobs in a specific industry or location by using the filter to narrow your search. For example, check out the farming industry opportunities in Kelowna or the tech industry in Greater Vancouver.
WorkBC Centres offer a range of employment services and supports to help you find work. You can apply for employment services and a WorkBC Centre staff member will get back to you. Needing financial support?
Due to COVID-19, you may have been laid off or are facing reduced work hours. Or you may be a small business owner who needs financial assistance. The provincial and federal governments offer benefits and funding that may help you.
- Employees may be eligible to apply for modified Employment Insurance (EI) benefits such as the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB), the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB) or the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit (CWLB).
- Businesses can apply for a subsidy to help cover lost wages and/or find help through relief measures, programs and rebates.
- The new Paid Sick Leave entitles eligible employees to take up to five paid sick days per year.
- StudentAid BC has been working to support students and borrowers impacted by COVID-19. Learn more about how they may help you during your studies.
