Disability Employment Month 2022

The B.C. government is committed to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities. WorkBC employment services and supports help people with disabilities to achieve their employment goals. WorkBC also helps employers make their workplaces more inclusive and welcoming to people with disabilities through funding, training, and hiring initiatives.

During B.C.’s 9th annual Disability Employment Month (2022), we celebrated the contributions of people with disabilities in the workforce by highlighting the successes of four people with disabilities. Read more about how they overcame barriers in their search for employment.
